Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for oversight and communication to session regarding the church’s financial status. The committee:

  • Reviews church financial statements monthly.
  • Recommends and executes new gift forms.
  • Recommends and assists committees to spend designated gifts.
  • Recommends budget changes during the year.
  • Assists Stewardship Team with annual campaign.

The committee’s composition includes at least one active elder, the treasurer, the pastor, the trustee chair, and others. The Finance Committee normally meets the second Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the church library.  All meetings are open to the congregation. Anyone interested in serving on this important committee is welcome to do so.
